the video from op didn't happen in the club though. if their job is to keep order in the club, which i totally agree with you on, then why push some dude into the street? back him up, keep him off the property... if he gets violent settle him down/hold him down until the cops come because you called them. bouncers should help solve problems, not bring about more ones by acting all egotistical "SAY IT AGAIN. SAY IT AGAIN." ...the bouncer lost his cool and acted unprofessionally i think that's all there is to it.
and don't misunderstand me- i agree with everyone here that the kid gets what's comin to him for being so stupid, but that's not how it should play out. |
That's not necessarily true. At least in my opinion there would be bar/club security, and then bouncers. The bouncers job in many cases is to handle things that happen OUTSIDE of the club (i.e. some idiot getting in his face yelling "Fuck you" repeatedly). The guy clearly was very patient with him, so I say this falls on the asshole's part. What do you think he was going to do, sit him down and say "Now sir, you are really disturbing the public here, and I would sincerely appreciate it if you would please calm down a bit." You would be right if the bouncer did this on the first time the kid said something, but that kid earned his flight into the street.
