Perhaps this means that the Indo-Australian one moving which obviously runs right through NZ has caused the movement in the pacific one which runs by Japan? Like, a chain reaction I guess?
the real question is where do you think atlantis is hidden?

Glad Lira is safe.
Scary stuff with the Nuclear reactor potentially going up in flames too.

I saw on the news that the cooling system failed in one of the reactors, if that was the case I'm sure the reactor control rods were completely inserted immediately after. So there should be no risk of an explosion.
But they probably wont say that on the news, as it's not as big a story as a potential nuclear explosion.

Yea, last I heard the nuclear situation was not that dire, they had secured the reactor and there was no threat of radiation leakage.

Last I heard (Guardian at 5:20GMT) was that the pressure inside the reactor was still rising.
The one thing I will never forget was the earthquake we had here in Hull about 4 years ago. I think it was only 3.6 but the noise was unreal, words can't describe hearing the land resonate like that.

Having lived through a number of them I can say there is really nothing else like it, the noise, the shaking, the aftershocks... Its a very helpless feeling since there is no warning and they can occur at anytime, and you stay jumpy for weeks after, the sound of a low flying jet or a big truck driving by... Its a really intense experience.

Our one was so tiny that I don't think there was a noticeable aftershock.
