I'm not asking anybody to do research, I'm just saying that if you are aware of any sources that prove my theory is nothing but a pile of dog shit, then post them. That's all I'm saying. Funny you should say this, because I had the chance to speak to Mayan natives who were also historians and guides. The leader of the group told us that it is a myth that the Mayans believe the world was going to end in 2012. He explained to us that the *original* Mayan calendar was only made up until 2012, but that people outside of the tribes "interpreted" this ending as the end of the world, which is not the case to Mayans. He went on to explain how natives often find humor in the paranoia in people around the world based in the exaggerated interpretations of their calendar. Whether 2012 is the end of the world or not, I found it interesting to learn this information.
