soldiers just stood by while women and children were literally butchered, literally hundreds of thousands of them, beceause somebody decided its in their best interest not to intervene and, somehow, that was ok. hundreds of thousands people perished while transfusing blood for oil (not in our name !!!) and still, it was ok. and now, straight up murder is ok too??

not that he didnt deserve it, he had it coming. but this is way too fucked up.

Oh, surely there are tards out there, but considering the amount of discussion going on about this, I have not had any conversation that leads me to believe that people think otherwise.

The general consensus is that this strikes a nerve simply due to the memory of certain events, but an understanding that this doesnt eliminate all of the problems that attach itself with it. The cheers are subsiding, now on to problem #239472384 we need to fix

Bah at that last video, sure he has one or two valid points but going completely conspiracy crazy can get annoying.

He does raise some strong points. Some of the points he spoke about are the previous links between the CIA and the Taliban, the 'Al Qeada narrative' supporting certain interests of the United States, and the illegal actions of NATO in Libya.

The point regarding Libya is interesting. In no shape or form do I support Gaddafi's atrocities against his own people (don't let the pic fool you.. I just think its jokes.. he looks like he spent a nice long night at Guv), but NATO's involvement in Libya is not something that I support. Change should come from within. I'll jsut leave it at that.. I don't want to get off topic and sidetrack the thread.

Hmm.. on another note.. what's defined as conspiratorial seems to vary greatly from one part of the world to another. Back home, the majority of people I know would agree with most of what was said by Corbett, if not all of it. Then again, that might be limited to the people that I choose to associate with / people that choose to associate with me. I highly doubt that's the case. In the grander scheme of things, it might boil down to differences in the history of different regions. That and the media's selective portrayal of global events.

I find that over time, more and more people seem to agree with the ideas brought up in the video for obvious reasons. Some might argue that there might not be enough proof for some of his points, but then again the US government isn't providing much solid proof against the topics he brought up.

i dont think you remember the day of sept 11th when the attacks happened you saw muslim's in other countries on the new's chanting and haveing parades, burning pictures of bush and the american flag, and all over what? the killing of more than 3,000 innocent lives?

hell you didnt even have to go to other countries to see certain muslim's celebrateing i saw some 3 blocks away on the morning of sept 11th when the planes first hit, same thing in a heavy muslim populated section of brooklyn not too far from me...people danceing and singing in the street's

i wont deny that the lives lost, time, money, resources etc etc that america lost over the past 9.5 years justify's the killing just one man and maybe 1,000 more of his member's that we took out

but as an american and a person who witnessed people dieing that day i feel its not only every american's right, but anyone in general who enjoy's living their life in freedom right to celebrate and be free

osama didnt just hate american's guy bombed london, istanbul, africa, mardrid etc etc

the war on terror is far from over, but may 1 2011 was a day of victory and relief for alot of the victims family member's knowing that piece of shit osama will never take one more breath of air and come up with more plot's to kill innocent lives

i hate that the osama/CIA thing comes up so often as if it's the smoking gun that challenges all the "mainstream" perceptions about him or confirms their conspiracy theory. there are probably a lot of living ex-contras in nicaragua that were trained by the CIA decades ago as well, that in itself doesn't make the CIA responsible for whatever attitudes they developed or crimes they committed since.

Yes. Don't get me wrong....I don't think there is anything wrong with being happy that such an evil person has been wiped off the planet but this kind of chanting and taking the the streets in celebration just makes you no better then the people you dislike so much.
