was in innsbruck for a cousin's wedding, but spent ~10 days there
then a good amount of time in vienna (so wonderful)

whenever i hear 'position' i think of my one japanese friend in nyc. when we go out to a party she'll always stand at the back, directly in front of a stack of speakers. i asked her why once and she explained 'it is my position.' i think castenaga (sp?) wrote about that at some time --the idea that everybody should have a position/place for when they're doing drugs that makes them comfortable.

anyway, this thread has been pretty interesting reading. that 'why people hate america' article is fascinating
