Haha, right. Because enduring months and months of discomfort leading to incomparable agony and a lifetime commitment to fostering the growth of another human being -inarguably one of the most difficult things a person could ever do- is something most women do but merely to keep a certain man around or get money. I'm not saying it's never happened, but if you think it's considered anywhere in the realm of "normal" or even common, then you should probably reconsider.
L4C is right. Human beings have been coming to terms with their sexual frustrations and complications for thousands of years of civilization, and women by and large have suffered the most for it. You don't have to be some femenazi to realize this. In parts of the world, it is still very much an every day thing. No, they don't want 'revenge' for all the atrocities committed against them throughout the ages, nor do most of them wish to be treated truly superior or even differently. You're quite welcome to provide whatever extremist quotations or ideological snippets from noted feminist writers all you like, but you'd only be taking them out of context.
