IMO most tracks which I would call EDM masterpieces are made in the 90's.

a track with infinite replay value
and goosebumps years after you heard it
a track which all your friends like almost as much
despite your sentimental value attachment
dark haunting atmospheres and beautiful melodies are a must
electro tracks (well 99% of them) are not masterpieces
only my friend molly would think so...but only on big speakers
very well said, surprised you're american!
not gonna take a lecture on masterpiece criteria from a tiesto fan... of all people!
that speck of gold is frankly just crap. washy shitty vocal number. masterpiece?!
edm masterpeice incoming...
the original, non vocal version.
generally vocals are there to mask a poor tune. whilst perception vocals are actually quite good, it doesn't beat the track in its raw unadulterated state...
takes you to another place, like a good tune should... bomb!

yeah well I WAS a Tiesto fan from 1999-2005
but not anymore now
and that Cass & Slide track was on a Tiesto compilation
I think i do have pretty good taste in music
and perception was the vocal version tiesto used - though it was a good compilation in any case - before he went downhill.
i seen you listen ISOS4 as your second all time great album... that's not what i call good taste in music.
ISOS 1 to 3 were amazing. after that tiesto became shit. the rest is history.

yeah well we all have peculiar tastes...but I think mine is above average
but the fact we both like ISOS 1 and ISOS 3 means we arent THAT different in terms of musical taste
but yeah I see your point
People who have bad taste are like
OMG ATB-Ecstasy is the best track ever!
or those who are like DUDE Deadmau5 and Skrillex are my 2 fave DJs
actually I originally mentioned AVICII but on second thought I have never heard one of his mixes or any of his songs...So i cant diss A guy I haven't listened to
maybe I loved ISOS 4 so much cuz of my DSL connection
and the fact I was going trhough adolescence
tracks in adolescence sound better usually
But fuck my mother
she keeps me in the dark and ruins my life
she better be penitent
Really, this thread sucks as a discussion of "electronic musical masterpieces", because as usual just about every track is trance. Just accept it's a lot of narrow-minded people posting tracks they like and get stuck in.
