Most male actors I've met are small but well proportioned guys....
with MASSIVE heads. I'm not joking. Mark Wahlberg, Russel Crowe, David Oyelowo, Jack Black, Joaquin Phoenix etc. Heads are disproportionately large.
There was a great interview that Micheal caine gave on this subject:
| quote: | The first thing is, if you are a man with a very small head, or a woman with a very big one... you will never see a romantic couple on the screen, as a success, where the man's head is smaller than the woman's. The woman's head must always be smaller, but you don't notice it. If you saw it you wouldn't even notice it, you'd just know that you didn't like this couple.
If you can see your nostrils from straight on, you'll never do it. If you can see your gums as you're speaking, above your teeth, you'll never do it. If, in the normal relaxed posture of your face, you can see the whites above your eyes, you will never become a leading lady or man, because it's disconcerting.
But as I said in the book, if you have all three you'll probably make a very good living in horror movies! |

Depending on the framing and angles a movie can fool you into thinking someone is tall. I just watched Valkyrie after seeing this thread. I know Tom Cruise is short but they do a good job of hiding it for that matter any movie he has been in.
I'm not ready to subscribe to a red piller theory but it's pretty obvious having a pleasing face to look at helps and most everything below the neck can be fixed. But if you can't act that's a non starter.
Btw dell needs to get a better publicist. Based on his pics I've seen I thought he was 5'4. Maybe he needs to find shorter friends.

Lol you morons don't have clue about photography. Those celeb are shot using a wide angle lens that exaggerates the size of their heads. Look at the poster behind him the blue square logo get larger the higher they are.
