Indeed, I use the Pioneer HDJ 1000 right now, I used to use sennheiser hd 280 pro but these headphones SUCK in a club environement, they distort like crazy. so for xmas i got HDJ 1000 and im pretty satisfied with them, there sexy and the bass response is 1000x better than the hd 280 and it doesen't distort!.

You realize that I no longer claim that the HD280 are good club headphones? *chuckles* I wonder how the RP-DJ1200 compare to the HDJ1000 in a club environment... also, have you tried using the high notes rather than the bass to beatmatch?

To be honest I hate the design of them.. Big and Clumsy as fuk, but they can be pushed harder than the HD25 earphones I did use. So they sound marginally better. Not really worth the money I paid mind you.
