I don't want to be a naysayer, but you'll regret it. $2k was under valued as well. I see them go for $1k each without needles and dust covers or original box. You didn't do badly but you could have got a little more.

I still have my 1210s mkII and it's always nice to mix on vinyl. Recently I have been doing a load of nostalgia nights and they insist on vinyl.
Besides, what you get used to playing on at home matters little. Only a handful of the clubs I play at have the Nexus, dont get me wrong I'm sure you are good either way, but versatility is always good.
I wish there was a way I could keep both but i couldn't because i was impatient, shit.

I agree with this. If you're djing at a club, chances are they'll have some kind of CDJ but not the latest Nexus unless it's a big club and you're a major name, in which case you get to specify whatever you want.
I know just about every club still has a pair of turntables or access to them if that's what you want. Otherwise, they're so small that they won't have spent $4k on Nexus CDJ's.
Most small bars and clubs I've played at have CDJ 1000's or 2000's at best if you're lucky.

I frankly disagree, I think in order to achieve great track selection effectiveness, one needs to develop a style at home and get more oriented with the gear so one gets accustomed to both platforms and gets familiar with one's music library.
