I couldn't possibly concur more than I concur right now.
I had awesome food in London: My first falafel (not a thing here, specially vegetarian), loads of Cantonese food, and some delicious pizza. Having said that, it took me 5 years to see my sodium levels return to normal after a dinner at Wagamama and my Nando's wasn't cheeky |
Funnily enough, London (Camden, specifically) was where I first discovered the wonders of Brazilian food.

Now it is, but it's only a very recent development, in the last 5 years or so. Food was terrible in London unless you wanted Curry or Stodge. |
I find it hard to believe you couldn't get good Caribbean food in London five years ago.
I'm not even talking about Michelin star restaurants and fine dining here. I've had amazing food for a few quid from market stalls. I know there's the whole street food explosion going on, but I find it a bit hard to believe you couldn't get a broad choice of international cuisine in London of all places until recently.
