I think this is probably the first synth since the Virus where the FX engine is going to be so integral to the overall character of the finished sound, although I'm not sold on that reverb in this demo at least. I know there are a few models in there though.
Basic tone sounds good. It's not top end (Micromac, OB6) good, but it's closer to them than it is to stuff like the Minilogue or BS2 etc.
yeah for that price its never gonna be the be all and end all of synths but i still think its gonna be great - its funny because i was thinking of picking up a Virus C but i will wait instead for this
It might be 6 months before anybody gets their hands on one here. I think official launch is supposed to be the end of the year, but getting hold of one will be difficult.
cant wait till the musictrackjp guy gets his hands on one - in fact Behringer should have shipped one over to him, love his demos

6 months seems to be a long time in the synthesizer industry these days - something better may come along in the meantime, unlikely but you never know
