blah....guess I better say something about this since I end up there every other weekend it seems!
haha
First, the bad parts: I totaly agree that the sound system needs work, it is just no good, deafness is inevitable, so BRING EARPLUGS!
And also, the no-cameras rule sucks a dick!
I honestly think the crowd and the vibe are great. There are definatley a lot of sleazebags, but that is true with any club Ive been to. It sucks that there's nowhere to sit, but honestly, when you've got Armin of Johan or Ferry there, I dont ever want to sit!
The crowd has always been good, especially when theres enough TA's there, but there is always the inevitable drunk bastard or some other stupid dick, I imagine it must be worse for girls.
NOTHING can beat the DJ's they bring though, and the super level of intamacy you get with them. Sure there is that plastic in front of the DJ booth, but would you rather the DJ be like, a mile away so yuo can barely glimpse them>?
I love GLow's setup so much, you get to interact with the DJ so much.
so in summation, I think GLOW KICKS ASS AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

i have been to club Space(miami) many times, but have never been to a club north of Atlanta,... those of you that have been to both Space and those other northern clubs (glow,arc,nation,roxy,etc...) please compare Space to those, b/c from what ive heard and seen from glow(i know very little about those other 3) it looks like a younger crowd, more casual dress code, and smaller... Space though allows cameras, has some seating that is more valuable than gold-basically somebody in your party needs to occupy the seat the whole night but its right on the dance floor so you are still right in the mix of the masses and is elevated a bit so you can see over everybody, has the outdoor patio to go and cool off and look up at the stars for a breather that everybody needs now and again, a really high dj booth(too high, can barely see some of the djs sometimes), the soundsystem is amazing-a tad loud though, good temperature esp. when the cooling jets shoot out, although im not the biggest fan of vip areas- its vip areas are massive(i saw P. Diddy last dec at while at PVD), and i like wandering around in the 4 rooms (blue[main], red, basement, and patio), ive heard that Space is the best club in the US, i have almost nothing to base that on but i cant disagree, list some pros and cons about those other clubs b/c i am quite curious, merci beaucoup
