that was the comment i would have put in this thread six years ago.i was going to go back in time and put it in there but i do not have one of these:
so i just decided to put it in now.
i dont care who has what equipment. Its about skills, track selection, the little things.
so what if everyone wants to be a DJ. so what if some shmuck thinks he is nice. so what if that shmuck gets a gig. Won't their true colors eventually show anyway?
I say let whoever wants to spin do it. And the fans be the judge. who is to say what a real DJ is in the first place. I mean.. who started DJing in the first place?
the term DJ was coined in the 1935 by Walter Winchell in reference to Martin Block. I know this because I looked it up on wikipedia in order to write an informed response for this thread
So wouldnt the person who started this thread, just be some wanker according to Walt and Marty? I mean, come on. Theres nothing worse than a snob who hates people that he was once like. Get over yourself bro
has anyone seen any best buys yet with this infamous dj section?
(i care mostly about the brooklyn one on bay pkwy)

What? this is such a sad comment. You should want edm to grow, to as many people as possible. Come on, are you saying don't want more people to experience what your experiencing. I love edm, and I try to spread it to as many people as possible. Growing is a party of life, and you need to grow to stay alive.
Nothing wrong with edm being mainstream, it just means it's become loved by the majority of people, and Hopefully that day will come soon.

Its not a DJ section, its section in Best Buy called the Musical Room which carries various musical equipment like Guitars, electric guitar amps, electric pianos, Drum sets, microphones. Its all professional stuff and some high price product. There is only 6 stores that have this MI 2 stores in California, 2 in Chicago, 1 Minnesota and 1 in Northern Virginia. They plan on building this room in many Best Buys, so you'll seen this MI Room in November
