I haven't kept up to date with the forum in the last couple of days, but there have been some very interesting developments LOL.
I didn't take part in the polls but they were funny, and I never took them seriously for a minute, but someone may have and I guess that's where Liam's argument is coming from
Liam, I think a lot of us see your point, but it will most likely never become a reality, and I think, like you stated, that Swamper realized this a long time ago which is why he doesn't bother moderating the TO forum, its pointless, people will always argue.....and if they do so what???
I think arguments/debates are essential to keeping a forum interesting, a lot of good points are brought up during the arguments and allow for people to see a variety of views on a given issue.
On another note, Liam makes a very good point about welcoming newbies. I know quite a few people who are reluctant to join and post on the board because they fear that being new to the board=having no music knowledge and that no one will take them seriously. So maybe we should lay off on teasing the newbies until we get more acquainted with them??? If Sake had not been the type of person he is, he may have taken serious offense to some of the posts and never posted again.......so he doesn't like Picotto who cares, a lot of people don't.
