Nabil Dirar verhuist naar Club Brugge
di 20/05/08 - Club Brugge heeft Nabil Dirar binnengehaald. Club en Westerlo, de ploeg van de 22-jarige flankaanvaller, kwamen vandaag tot een akkoord. Dirar tekende tot 2013 in Brugge.
Dirar, een Marokkaanse international met Belgische roots, was aan zijn tweede seizoen bezig in het Kuipje.
Vooral dit seizoen speelde hij zich vaak in de kijker met zijn dribbels.
De topploegen waren overtuigd. In België waren Standard, Anderlecht en Club geďnteresseerd. Maar ook Ajax lonkte vanuit Nederland.
Maar Dirar kiest dus voor een stap hogerop in ons land.
Eerder voetbalde Dirar bij Haren, RWDM, Diegem en Union. Bij die laatste club plukte Westerlo hem weg.
Dirar is de derde aanwinst van Club, na de Venezolaan Ronald Vargas en ook Bernt Evens, Dirars ploegmaat bij Westerlo.

Zonde. Dit is zowat de enige ploeg waar ik Dirar niet naartoe zou willen hebben zien gaan. Een technische ploeg in de Nederlandse competitie (zoals Ajax dus bijvoorbeeld) ligt hem volgens mij beter. Ik ben benieuwd naar zijn prestaties volgend seizoen!
