and why dont you start using supplements then, you can always beat a plateau, maybe take a few weeks break, just maintenance, then absolutely throw in the food

well i was on a heavy creatine cycle for one month.. thats how i broke my plateu at 140

i managed to get up to 148 lbs

after i stoped the cycle i couldnt surpass 145

it was good though it gave my body a shock.. the thing about supplements is that you get demotivated

for instance.. i was able to bench max 175 lbs on the peak of my creatine cycle.. 55 lbs each hand shoulder press etc etc

my weights have gone down at least 10 - 20 lbs on bench
5 or so on shoulder press and on average 5 lbs for everything

a month after stopping the cylce.. i was pushing myself too hard and injured my sacroilliac joint which is the joint that connects the pelvis to the leg bone

so i have been taking it easy.. i might start a cycle again.. but it becomes a dependant thing.. and i dont like that

It's because of water retention. When you first wake up in the morning your body has depleted a lot of the extra water it stored the day before, then your stomach swells throughout the day. Drink a lot of beer/soda at night, then when you wake up you'll notice they look a lot better.

Feels good to hit a proper gym now that I'm on break. Up at school I can't do squats, and after 3 months without doing them, I can barely walk and I did them on Sunday.

well that might be why your not gaining weight, i have no reason to do cardio, i have lost fat using the training i'm doing without cardio and i can dance when i go out for hours, without feeling too exhausted.

i never warmup before training, always hit the heaviest set first, and in the 5-6 months i've been training that way have not injured myself once

i used to do the same thing, until injured my sacroilliac joint

even a 5 minute walk on the treadmill or a quick trip to the sauna can help

you dont want to have your muscles stiff when you work out.. lets say you are working your shoulders and you accidently jerk.. you can strain your muscle.. and be out of the gym for weeks.. even months

its been 2 months for me now since ive "seriously" trained.. due to a simple injury that could have easily been avoided by a small cardio warm up and pre workout stretching

even a quick 5 minute jog helps!.. you just want to get the blood flowing before you start to break appart your muscle (aka work out)

i always use full focus on the exercise, and dont jerk the weight or anything, so i won't bother, there isn't a treadmill in my gym anyway, there against that sorta thing

OHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would just like to announce to everyone that i achieved my goal in the gym that i set at the start of the semester, and it feels bloody AWESOME.

I am now able to do do Flys with the biggest set of dumbells at my gym, and i'm very proud to have achieved my goal!!!

I did two sets of 6 reps with 35kg (approx. 77 lbs) on each dumbell. It's good for me, anyway

Damn dude, you must be friggn huge

Just a warning though, I too was getting up into the 65 lb area for flies, when i realized i was doing them wrong and the weight was too much, my form had just gotten lax, it had become a bench/fly hybrid.

This man used 60s for his

Ive been stickin with 45s now and been tryin to extend arms as much as possible and ive been seein a lot more interior chest.

I just woke up and im not pumped at all, but i have about 6 huge ass inner strands poking into sternum from chest now, something i never had even when hittin the heavier weights.

Im not saying youre doing it wrong, just warning that I was, and that refocusing helped a lot

Grats though, i couldnt even hybrid that much

lol posting your pic near arnolds always makes you feel bad...god my chest is little.
