This recording was a close call. I had JUST installed streamripper when Jake went on. Right when he posted that "I'm starting now" the file had a little bit left to download. I almost called Jack Bauer.

I am hoping to add FAQ's for both Windows and Mac OS users regarding necessary software/hardware information for streaming audio.
If anyone has a Windows FAQ they've found particularly useful, please either post a link here or PM me.
I've never streamed audio via a server that wasn't local to me. Does this basically involve using WinAmp in line-in mode (receiving the output from my mixer) and the ShoutCast plugin? Or am I over-complicating it?
TIA. I've been wanting to get on here and play some tunes.

Winamp must be open and your line in connected. there is a shoutcast plugin on which you select the soundcard output a nd that SHOULD be all you need, then just adjust the levels accordingly.

I assumed so, I just wanted to make sure I was on the right track. Cheers.
