Conditioner isn't for washing your hair, so all you're doing it keeping it from getting super tangled, making it shiny and keeping it moisturized. Conditioner is sleek and oily, so unless you want your hair to look like that for 6 days a week, I'd wash it.

Everyone's hair is different. I have a friend that only shampoos & conditions once a month, and he was told to do that by his hair dresser. I shampoo & condition every other day or every 2 days. Definitely not every day though.

But when my hair is longer, like it is now, I wash it every other day...every two days and I can't style it, it just gets all poofy :/

Haha. For the longest time it was this. I haven't had it cut since umm, maybe mid-August, late July? It's about less than half an inch from my eyebrows and the tips of the side are to the opening of my ear. I'll probably only go one or two more weeks before I cut it.

Yeah I give it a good rinse and really sort of 'scrub' it under the water for about 10-15 mins.
