I agree with this statement. Mrs. Hazard is pretty handy and I'm pretty domestic. It works out well when we need to get things done because she's more then adequate assistance to me when I'm doing handyman things and I'm a good help to her on household chores. This allows us to get stuff done quicker and together... without wanting to kill each other due to gross incompetence.

even the most ardent feminist will admit that due to gender roll sociallization there are certain tasks to which men are more climatized then are women and vice versa. I don't mean to speak for Jenny, however, I'm pretty sure this is what she was getting at... there are things that one gender will do better then the other, in such instances they probably should do those things.

that's funny...well u said u were raised by your dad..well until you were 14. makes sense though.
i was raised mostly by a single working mother, so i'm like the opposite.
my ex did ALL the cleaning, it was hilarious. he was OCD though. i was like the guy in the relationship lol he would fold the laundry while i sat on the bed and watched him. hahah i'd be like, "oh i'll help" but then i wouldn't. he didn't care though. he seemed to enjoy picking up after me. i thought it was weird. now i'm the OCD one.
but i still agree with what you posted. i have no problem carrying out "womanly duties".

Meh. Men and women are different, it's a fact. Women don't act like women anymore...I like things a little more old fashioned.

On the flip side, think of all the bullshit that women have gone through in the past. Same shit as the slaves if you ask me. We’re only just now becoming independent, but there’s still a lot of crap we have to put up with. Back in the day, you wouldn’t have been allowed to go to nursing school, etc…
just something to think about

while i understand your point of view i dont really share it. although i dont mind it when the women have this view. it just helps me appreciate my woman more. because i HATE HATE doing laundry. its so time consuming and i dont really have much time for it. then again i also would rather my woman not HAVE to work but if she prefers to then fine.

LOL, uhh...nurses have ALWAYS been women. The profession was "invented" by a woman, and the way that modern hospitals are is owed to nurses (women).
But yeah, I understand all that.

I was mainly referring to the time when women weren’t even allowed to have jobs or an education, that’s all.
I have a little bit of feminism in me, but nothing too crazy.

Ah, yeah I follow. Using nursing was a bad example though.
However, in a way it does apply. It took nurses a long time to get the respect they deserve. Way way back, nurses of the day were thought to be witches. And there's always been sexual stereotyping in the profession. Even now it exists.
