lol, i lost $20 on the stupid wheel of fortune $.25 machine right off the bat. so i was like, fuck it, here i come dollar machines!

first max bet of $3 on the dollar machine, i got the lucky spinner thingy....and won $30! then i played a little more, and got up to $93 (off of $20). so i was like, fuck yeah, i'm up $33! (i walked in with $60).

so i'm walking towards the change machine to cash in the ticket, and i played another $20 on another $1 machine, and lost it all. so i was like, fuck this, i'm up $13, i'll leave.

all within like 20 mins.

You don't really have to be good, if you spend just a little time learning most of basic strategy you can play blackjack at a table for a long time before you lose all your money.

Any time I walk into a casino I just assume I'm gonna lose all my money. To me, I'm paying for entertainment just like if I was at an amusement park or a movie. So I just like to prolong the time it takes to lose my money lol. If luck is on your side and you actually walk out ahead, its a bonus. Poker is really the only game where skill can give you an advantage. And craps, if you follow the proper strategy.

Playing slot machines is basically throwing money away.

Playing poker, if you're good, will result in profit.

there are certain slot machines, however, where the ribbons have extra things on them....instead of just normmal "bar"...if you go for those, and hit the extra bonus, you win more than just your normal payout.

in particular, there's a machine i've played that has 3 ribbons....and then a 4th ribbon if you place a max bet. the 4th ribbon is all additional things - for example, 5x, 25x, re-spin, etc...

fucking working 2 jobs = the suck. started 2nd job yesterday and leaving for work now. thank god its just till i leave for toronto.
