Has anyone got/used and ecler nuo 4 or 5? They are going quite cheap on ebay at the moment and I'm thinking of trading in my DJM 500 for one. Didn't think it was worth making a new thread.

Thoughts?

I've never used the Nuo series but I own an Evo 5 and I love it. Based on what I know, however, the nuos would be a huge upgrade over the 500. I'd go for it, esp, the 5 if you want effects.

I've owned both nuo 4 and 5.. (the nuo5 currently using). I can tell you that they are excellent mixers. It would be a big upgrade from your DJM500 for sure.. The huge knobs were kinda wierd at first, but they quickly grew on me and I loved em. I really liked the sound quality mostly. I wish they had vu meters for all channels, but unfortunately they don't.. not that it's a huge problem, cuz you still have the pfl and master meter.
