you know actually the quality of life out there is not that bad since the areas economy is driven by the ski resorts and casinos. it's not as populated as a city but its gentrified enough such that you can make a lucrative career. There are a bunch of million+ dollar homes in an area called Kings Beach or Incline Village. Pretty much the whole waterfront area is like any other waterfront area like La Jolla in California, in the greater parts of north of Miami/Ft Lauderdale, it's actually quite the scene out there, minus the red rope shit you see in big cities.

I've already inquired careers with the parent companies that own these resorts so a career and location move may be inevitable for me. Long live snowboarding! ya hearrrdddddd

yea i wont lie it's expensive if i were to add up all of my gear, travel gear, clothes, bags, base layers, socks, tools, i'd probably say i've spent over 5K in 2years. And thats just for equipment, not including lift tickets, flight, hotel, car rentals, etc. So yes, it's an expensive hobby, but once you ride, you'll never look at winter the same LOL.

My trip to tahoe was about 1100 each for 9days hotel, RT air, full size SUV rental. An additional 250 in lift tickets, then food, liquor, and fun supplies. So it is a pocket damage hobby but the high you get is greater then any drug...and you can listen to your music too =P
