wells this is actually true. it all depends on how much ecomical capital you can bring over here and how old you are when you're immigrating also plays a big role.
As for the refugee thing wells i don't really know the statistics behind that either, but I like most ppl likely wouldn't want refugess living in our neighbourhoods. However Canada as a developed nation has to share the burden with the rest of the developed world to curb the global economic crisis of the developing nations. So yeah I still think we should help out in some way .. how we do it is another question ..
Well said.

dufari would you have a problem with russians who don't speak english well??
some eastern euros have this thing that pisses me off
they think that they deserve to be given immigration more than other countries, say like asians or middleeasterns.
i am an eastern euro, so I am not making things up.

Hm.. I'm not sure what money you are talking about. Immigrating to Canada doesn't cost all that much money. It costs a lot if you hire a lawyer, but then it's your lawyer who gets most of the money, not Canadian government. Also, becoming a Canadian citizen it's all that expensive.. As far as I can remember it's around $750.
Well, I Immigrated here in 1989. Back then It was harder to get into Canada and what was expensive about it was the fact my family had to go to Buffalo twice just to get some forms and pick up the papers cause no one told us a straight answer. We did not use a lawyer. All tho I bet in the end, having taken a lawyer would probably have cost the same just without the hassle. 750 Buck snow???? No thanks....

well if i did want to piss off poor old swamps, i would say "Khalalalallaah" but then out of respect to our poor pope and the other TAs who have been harrased by the very words, i shall refrain from using it on TA.
let me clarify what we (Khalalalah alliance) actually say in english:
Allah Akbar = muslims say it to mean Allah (God) is Great
lah Ellah ella Alla = No other God but Allah (God)
and to further clarify one thing: Allah is NOT the muslim God.. Allah is simply the arabic word for the God.
Lotta ppl confuse this but christian God, Jewish God and the muslim God are the same God.. just different faithes.
ok, now i should stop while i'm ahead.. Father Rocco doesn't wanna become a theologian
