sorry....this is like saying freeland is a funky house dj.....totally wrong...he does play tunes with a funk edge...but I wouldn't say he was 'funky house' in the slightest...not like anybody playing in the plasma lounge anyway..... he varies between prog & breaks, much more of a techy feel to his sets.
He was perfect to go from riley to solar stone & he has played at GC for years.....so its not a case of 'just sticking him in the lineup as a token warm up tech dj' he is actually one of rowan's (gc promoters) fav djs...aswell as being the warm up dj of choice for mr van dyk.

u complained at the b2b set as it was just 'random trance' - yet u complain also about pvd's set being structure. Just a slight contradiction I think!

sorry what??

I thought the last set was basically just dropping the newest 'big tunes' of the moment...wether they 'go together' or not....it was kinda like a bedroom fuck around mix....wasn't particularly memorable...not at all a patch on last years.

I have to admit that scott and matt was a let down! No flow, and some of the tunes were worthy of a Jules set! Pvd was amazing! MArco V was amazing. Casselle was god like. S.Stone were also amazing. Riley was cool. Crasher was weird and far from normal!

I hate to say it coz i used to hate him a lot but pvd was the only dj who performed up to scratch really and he was pretty class and i suppose cassele was quite cool for the time he was on but apart from that i thought solar stone were a little bit too melow and it bored me a bit, marco v went trancey at the end of his set which he's crap at and it killed his performance completely and hardwick and bonds b2b was ok but just sounded a bit average and didnt live up to expectations at all.

Having said all that about most of the djs not being that good i still had a mint night seeing people again and getting back to crasher after such a long boring summer without it.

I loved the music from 9-1am best it was lovely...ESP the funkier shit at the start of the night!
What were the actual times of the line ups?

PVD got uite tuff at one point... proves to me how long it had been since i last saw him in '99...!!!
