Here's what Judge Jules had to say about Together as One...
"Taking place in three dance areas, the gig also featured drum'n'bass maestro Goldie, as well as my Radio 1 cohort Fergie. The crowd were fully charged during my two hour set, which covered the midnight chaos. I love making speeches on the mic, where it's appropriate to do so, and you can't get a much better opportunity than a New Year's countdown. As a huge projected clock behind the turntables ticked its way towards midnight I came out with some inane banter, saying something like "well now it's time to nominate those areas needing the attention of a New Year's resolution. Alcohol, gambling, drugs, late nights, girls etc... Will it be a resolution that sticks, or will it all be forgotten by the end of January? It's time to decide". Some people cheered, others looked at me a tad confused. 'Together as one' had an outstanding atmosphere- at midnight there was the loudest and most impressive indoor fireworks display I've ever seen. I'd arrived about two hours before my set, knowing that I had to leave immediately afterwards at 1am."
