Well, I feel like this is the 30th PvD review I've written in my life...never gets tiring.
I definitely agree with Lunasea's comments about the lack of flow, and i believe it may have to do with the fact that Final Scratch gives him an arsenal of endless music to play, where as when he carried 2 record bags with him, he may have been forced to plan his set ahead of time...just a thought. I always love to hear a mix of new & old tracks, and Paul did a solid job with that...favorite old-school track of the night was Greece 2000...furthermore,I loved the "techno hour" he decided to display (thank you Chris Liebing!).
My highlight(s):
1.When he dropped Face to Face...always reminds me of why I have been a devoted fan of Paul's through the good and bad times..
2. Remixes of Buenaventura and Thats Life....now why werent these the versions featured on Reflections?
My lowlights:
1. He needs to STOP playing Beautiful Things...if I wanna hear that track I'll just tune into KTU!
2. Nothing But You! AGain! grr....
Finally, it would've been nice to hear more progressive tunes, but at least it was great to hear some old trance tunes like On The Run and Autumn. Overall, yesterday wasn't as good as November for me due to the lack of flow and lack of new tracks...
BTW> Why didnt he play the new remix of Love from Above? I dont think he did...

I would say the night was 90% bad and 10% good. I wasn't really feeling it either. First of all, it was impossible to find a spot to dance at( but I did not have so much stamina to dance for long periods of time anyhow. I felt so exhausted). Secondly, I was sort of abandoned by a friend that was supposed to come with me( I mean, I am not angry at her just at the fact that I had no one to share what little joy I experinced). Thirdly, I experinced yet another crush. It was so bad, that I wrote a poem about her:
Her raven-colored hair enthralled me,
two ropey pigtails, spinning like dervishes
on either side
Blue visored cap
crowned her head as a tiara
of an empress of trance.
Her pure, white Vandit t-shirt,
knotted at the back, were like
an angel's shortened and modernized
gown; enchanting as she glides.
Navel pierced by a silver stud,
glistening off the strobes as
she danced.
Her navy blue UFO pants,
hanging low from her hips
embraced her limber legs
as a second skin.
Her fleet feet wrapped
in black sneakers, making
black circles, made my heart
pump harder and made my head spin!
(Sigh). I don't think I can do this clubbing stuff anymore. Damn, I wish he would have played Delerium - After All( Satoshi Tomei Remix), although it was cool to hear Innocente.
