so, if set is funky, it means it`s better than the others?

Not necessarily, but if you listen to Sander's latest cd releases along with his live mixes, you'd understand why this is the DJ of the moment right now with Sasha and maybe a couple of others.

And by funky, I mean fresh-sounding, groundbreaking, groovy.

i *love* sander! each time i've seen him this past year he impresses me - saw him in london and chicago. definitely going to nyc to see him at his new residency at crobar!!!!

and yes, his style of music is more funky, chunky - so if you like the funk - give him a listen

Sander - Hate or Love

To tell you the truth, i never really started listening to sander K. When i began getting into the more progressive side of trance/house Sander's name never really came up...for what reason, i have no clue. So i have never really listened to him until recently.

First of all i am 50/50 with his mixes, but i really like his productions. Some of his mixes dwell into the more progressive/vocal house area of music that i am not ready to venture into. However his tracks are very nice...starting with my first and favorite, lexicon ave. Up until recently i heard his livesets on his website and I was BLOWN AWAY. His track selection is unique, VERY groovy and understated. I seriously didnt know sander until i heard him mix, now i am certainly gonna look into him everytime i listen to music.

But i still have to grow into his remixes until i consider him into my select groups of producers/dj's (James Holden, Ozgur Can, Luke Chable, etc...)

PS. IF ANY OF YOU can recommend some tunes/livesets that can make my transition into "Sanderworld" more easier, please do. I really like his WMC 2004 set alot!.
