Her undertones in her work is that of Moral Relativism ie to judge anothers actions is a form of centrism be is ethnocentrism if youre judging another society or culture, or self centrism.
Its the whole idea that there is no absolute morality to compare actions against and we are all going off of our own mores and norms.
The whole "who are we to judge" mentality.
Thats what I dont like Its an optimistic utopian ideology and shouldnt be taken seriously, and isnt in philosophical circles. |
Funny, I think my interpretation of her philosophy leads me to different conclusions, or at least conclusions that I find extremely rational and practical, not to mention realistic. But I also see where her views can be a bit extreme--I think that's a product of her life experience.
