a quick probability lesson...
lets assume that we are the only planet with life in a galaxy of 100,000,000 stars
1/100,000,000 = .000000001
now if there are a 1,000,000,000 galaxies in a star system
.000000001 x 1,000,000,000 = 10
now if there are a 1,000,000,000 star systems in our universe
10 x 1,000,000,000 = 10,000,000,000
possible places with life on them.
ok ok the numbers are stupid, but that was just to make a point...i had a astronomy class once where my professor explained something like that and it sounded a lot better hehehe...i forget all of the levels too, so perhaps someone a little better in astronomy can explain...

Well I forgot the math part to it, but yeah the probability that there is life on other planets, is quite good. So yes there is life beyond this planet (reminds me of tiesto for some reason) but I just can't help but be skeptical about that mexico incident.

As I said before, that's called Carl Sagan's 1% rule, except he did it better
