i solved it
ok u cant just consider cows, or just # days, so i made up a unit called cow_days
first one, 70*24 = 1680 cow_days
second 30*60 = 1800 cow_days
growth = 1800/1680 = 1.07...
now, since its linear, 60-24 = 36
so its 24 days + 36 increase = 60days, then + another 36 = 96 days, thats twice the increase, so we double the 1.07 to get overall growth for all 96 days
= 1.14 something..* original cow_days which was 1680 = 1920 total cowdays
since we have 96 days, divide, 1920/96
= 20 cows
