Full respect to all who gave there lives for us in WWII.

D Day was one of the great military feats in history which was instrumental in turning the war.

How about we stop the flaming and just think about what happened all those years ago, and what it means to us today.

Good to see someone (smokeape) has some sense.

How did I know the same morons would ruin a thread aimed at people who did things for us. Let's start here at the start, tweek, you are a pathetic troll, lambasting the french in a friggin D-DAY thread, this was not about the war in Iraq, this was not about the french, this was about saying thanks to the people who died for OUR FREEDOM, you want to pull crap like this in TA, you will be dealt with. Yes, french people did die on d-day, that's no joke, no lie, there were french fighters in d-day, if I remember my history. Now to dealing with the rest of you lameass pathetic wimps (oh I know yer thinking, you have done this before TTA, maybe the old tta would have hijacked a thread, but I never have or will hijack a thread like this).

THIS THREAD WAS ABOUT REMEMBERING THE PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT AND THE ONES WHO SURVIVED AND THE ONES WHO DIED ON JUNE 6TH, 1944, WHEN THEY LAUNCHED D-DAY TO SAVE EUROPE FROM NAZI RULE.

If you want to be insensitive about war or other things, do it elsewhere and the ones that showed their stupidity, just don't get it and you are really a shame to society, you don't care that many people died for OUR FREEDOM, so we could all have the things we do today. Most of the people who died, won't be remembered by name but heck, I thought that a thread had to be started about this because it is because of the war veterans that we live the way we do. So don't bother with the stupid b.S in this thread, it's just plain wrong and it is not the time.

9,000 MEN LOST THEIR LIVES ON JUNE 6TH, 1944 (this is not a joke, these people died for my freedom and yours)...so remember the veterans with respect and kindness.

well said, torontotrance. This is a time of reflection, not of critiquing.

Many people sacrificed a lot, and I personally wouldn't have the guts to do what they had to, so they will always be extraordinary people imo
