I didn't go, but i'm glad everyone had a good time
I always enjoy Eddie Lee opening at Avalon: when i went there for Judge Jules last year, Jules sucked, and Eddie was the one who made the night worth my time and money.
In any case, I had my own party this weekend that was amazing... so no big loss for me...
I've never seen Tijs but I'll catch him sometime soon I'm sure...

As an avid Tiesto fan, I was disapointed with the night.

When I first go there at 2am the place was packed. For at least an hour on the main floor it was impossible to enjoy the music. Big half-naked jock cokeheads pushed everyone around like they owned the place. And the sound system was way beat. My ears were killing me after the concert. Finally I found a decent place to stand, when water started dripping on me from pipes above, wtf! And I couldn't find the bathroom for like 30 min, the place is a maze. Man did I miss the Roxy!

Shitty Avalon aside, Tiesto rocked me soooooooo hard. His track selection was awesome. I look forward to seeing him again, be it in another venue.

Also eventvibe.com really needs to find a better way to distribute it's tickets. Having a guy walk up and down the line every 20min is not cool. Imagine coming to Tiesto and not being able to find you're will call tickets. I was freaking out! Next time they should set up a booth like groovetickets did at the ultra festival in miami.

the set was really good
(except for when the vinyl fucked up and he threw it)
but the place was wayyyy too packed
2400+ people in a church that could only hold 2100

couldn't stand it and had to leave early
luckily we got tickets to come back again because a promoter heard us complaining

and there were so many meatheads there
YUCK
these huge ass dudes with no shirts and fake tans just standing in the most inconvenient places and sweating, sweating, sweating

but man, eddie fucking rocked that place...
that was an AWESOME set
especially when he dropped deep dish - flashdance...
the crowd LOVED IT!
