As an avid Tiesto fan, I was disapointed with the night.
When I first go there at 2am the place was packed. For at least an hour on the main floor it was impossible to enjoy the music. Big half-naked jock cokeheads pushed everyone around like they owned the place. And the sound system was way beat. My ears were killing me after the concert. Finally I found a decent place to stand, when water started dripping on me from pipes above, wtf! And I couldn't find the bathroom for like 30 min, the place is a maze. Man did I miss the Roxy!
Shitty Avalon aside, Tiesto rocked me soooooooo hard. His track selection was awesome. I look forward to seeing him again, be it in another venue.
Also eventvibe.com really needs to find a better way to distribute it's tickets. Having a guy walk up and down the line every 20min is not cool. Imagine coming to Tiesto and not being able to find you're will call tickets. I was freaking out! Next time they should set up a booth like groovetickets did at the ultra festival in miami.
