Review time!
In short, last night just reaffirmed my following opinion:
Markus Schulz > Tiesto
Anyway, the Orlando crew (me, Hope, Pat, Stan) rolls up to Space a little after 10. Hope doesn't have a presale ticket and almost doesnt get in, but thanks to the TA connection gets in, you guys are the greatest! I'm saddened that I have to go get a hotel room cuz I can hear Probspot - Foreplay playing from outside the club. Anyway get back to Space at like 11:30, get jagerbomb and head to the front and center where all the TAs are inevitably.
MS was rocking the place as usual with quality tunes - Monday Groove owns me in the club! plus classic Schulz like Clear Blue and Satellite.
Then Tiesto at 1, started off really good.. I really enjoyed the first hour - 90 mins despite how retardedly crowded it was and almost falling off the block. Then his set went to crap IMO, no not mixing wise.. he actually didn't trainwreck! But it was just like all filler tracks, I kept thinking "ok any minute now he's gonna change it up on us" that's what he's known for right? But the mindless unmemorable tracks continued. Some were good to dance to but nothing stuck out. When 5am rolled around I was glad he didn't keep going and Markus got back on. It's cool that he tosses out signed promo vinyls tho.. wish I woulda caught one.
Tiesto tracks I remember: Just Be, Adagio For Strings, Love Comes Again, Traffic
NO Walking on Clouds! WTF?
Markus' closing set I enjoyed the most, it started out with:
1. Solid Globe - Sahara
2. don't remember or didn't know but really liked it
3. Whiteroom - Whiteroom
At this point I was like "Markus is playing what Tiesto should have played!" I was pretty spent already and after dancing like crazy to these I could barely stand, so I go up to the DJ booth and end up chilling up there for the rest of Markus' set. Hope was passed out on the little couch up there.. go figure!

It was so great to see MS play Space again! and it was great hanging out with the ever growing TA crew: Hope, Pat (wooooooooooo!), Stan (happy birthday buddy), Phil (sucks you couldn't get in), Rachel, Greg, Cyn, Ryan, Neil, Amber, Ambs (yes, I'm the tall one shortie!), Katie, Arturo, Harold, Damon, DA, Bling, Ben, Markus, Heather, and I think there was more! damn the group is big so sorry if I forgot someone. First time I haven't met any new TAs
See some of yous Wednesday for Tiesto @ Icon, wonder how differently he will play. Others I hope to see on the 4th of July!
