not to pick on YOU but I hate how people say they have black friends or whatever so they can say their opinion. You know what? I have ALL white friends. Some German. Racist jokes are our favorite form of entertainment besides drinking and playing FIFA 2k4 (much better than FIFA 2k3 imo). In no way does that take away the validity or logic or statistics behind my words. If I said chickens are fucking stupid and run around when they get their heads chopped off BUT *GASP* didnt have any friends that were chickens does that make me a speciast?
and how can you not like the "attitude" then jam to Hip Hop?! |
I know it came off like that (sorry it did), but I wasn’t trying to sit there and be like, "See everyone? I have black friends look at me". I was just trying to clarify the difference. A true "racist" person cannot stand the thought of being around black people (or Jews, or Asians, etc..) or listening to "black music", and just generally HATES anyone who is anything other than WHITE. what’s his name (I forget his nick) is so quick to use the word "racist" to everyone in here who agrees with the thread. I was just making it clear that it’s about the attitude that is very common among African-Americans (no not ALL of them, but I’d say about 80% of them), and not the color of their skin. There is a huge difference.
and as far as me not liking the attitude, but liking hip hop...I can’t really explain that. I’m very picky about the hip hop I like. It has to have soul and meaningful lyrics. A perfect example is Outkast (old outkast). They're my favorite hip hop group. But I’m also guilty of liking a lot of mainstream hip hop too, just because a song might have a really sick beat or funny lyrics. Lately, one of my favorite songs is Petey Pablo "Freek a Leek". If you listen to the words, it’s hilarious. It’s so raunchy and ghetto and it has a great bassline.
Hope I clarified things.

Well technically there isn't reverse racism but everyone in America knows that there is and basically black people can bombard white people with racial slurs and white people can't say a single word about black people without them saying "IS IT BECAUSE IM BLACK , IS YOU DISCRIMINATIN' AGAINST ME JUST BECAUSE IM BLACK, BLACK POWA" and then don't you dare forget slavery, give me a fucking break, people have been enslaved all over the world throughout history and lived through MUCH worse things than black people in the U.S. and black people are still hanging on to it, but it's the Americans' fault, they are afraid of offending anyone, god forbid anyone gets offended. |
I agree.
A radio DJ near me said on Martin Luther King Day that "we should kill four more and get the whole week off" which was undoubtably racist. He ofcourse got fired from both his job as a cop and a dj, and got sued for a ridiculous amount.
However he only said this comment as a joke after a black DJ had said that White people shouldn't get off for MLK 's birthday, b/c they didn't have anything to do with helping dr. King etc. ( a comment so retarted I won't even begin to criticize here). If a white DJ had said that black people shouldn't get off for George Washingtons Birthday or something, they would have been fired immediately.
