Where did you hear that from?
It certainly looked pretty busy by that time... we had to queue to get in the main arena! I thought he'd just been delayed (stuck in 'traffic', ho ho ho)... something must have gone wrong at some point though because they were very behind schedule and Armin only ended up playing for ~40 minutes or so.
its true tiesto refused to play on his original set time cose he said the arena want full enough what a stuck up little prick

Did he tell you that personally or something?
And even if that was the reason then well, lets be honest, it was Scott Bond's timeslot he swapped with... how many of all the people there travelled just to see Scott Bond; the mediocre b-list DJ who only got to play because he was co-owner of crasher at that time? Compare that to how many Tiesto fans were stuck outside in the freezing cold come the start of his original timeslot (I got in just before Scott came on and there were still SHITLOADS of people behind me... thanks to the retarded NEC door staff)... I'd say asking to swap times would have been a curteous thing to do for all the people outside, even if it did mess the times up overall (I *think* G&D ended up extending their set until Scott was Ready).

Nickleback (not a DJ, but a performing artist nonetheless) were in portugal and they were on their second song and they kept on getting rocks and food thrown at them.
then the lead singer got on the mic "are there any Nickleback fans in portugal?" then he throws his glass of water in the crowd and walks off the stage showing the finger.
i saw this video on the net and laughed continously for a long time, if i find it ill post it
A finnish rock band, The Rasmus, had a knife thrown at them from the audience. It hit the singer on the neck, luckily it wasn't the sharp end.
Also, one of the finnish Idols was performing at a freebie outdoor festival and had broken bottles thrown at him. One of them hit a dancer in the arm and she was hurt pretty badly.
Needless to say the band(s) walked out of stage on both accounts.

The Rasmus are shit but they don't deserve that
