I don't know about you, guys, or girls, but I just adore Yahel and his work...
The best track I ever heard in my life is Yahel - Run.
I just love his melodies and his style and... everything...

Push - Strange World (2000 remake) - it has everything I'd ever look for in an uplifting trance tune - happy feeling, spine-tingling breaks, good energy, and great production too in terms of synths, percussion and so on...

hehe at first i'd always mention gabriel & dresden, but as they are more doing progressive / trance i dont think they are well placed here :~

but then again:

"GreenCourt feat. Lina Rafn - Silent Heart ( Wippenberg Remix )" is one of the things i used to feel with up-standing hairs when i heard it. thats an atmosphere.. nothing else but this is the sense of a trance (T-R-A-N-C-E) song

On the higher energy side I'm a fan of Absolom - Air (Prophecy Mix), Airscape - L'Esperanza, and Major League - Wonder

It's not really pure trance but I'd say it was close enough to be given the trance label.

I think a lot of people are blinded by the fact that Paul van Dyk has made it - Theres a lot of tracks that hes made which people will call 'trance', but put someone else as the artist name and theyd call it techno, or progressive, or whatever.

I think Avenue isnt really trance, according to the common usage of the term on here.

A lot of the tracks on Vorsprung Dyk Technik would fit into that category. They are way more acidy than they are trancy. Also slower than the tracks he has produced in more recent years. Chinese Burn - The Curve is a good example.

what are you talking about man ? just because its not infested with a super main synth line, doesnt mean its not trance, every element in Avenue is trance.. bassline, blackground main melody, and the signature pvd kick. that whole album[Out there and back] was a trance album and one of the best trance artist albums til this day.
