I can't stand the attitude that some teenage girls have. They have no respect for anyone young or old, and anything. It's all because parents don't spend enough time raising them. Kids scream for discipline and structure.
I mean, damn, when I was a kid, my parents taught me that I must respect my elders, and somehow that just stuck in my head. But these girls need strict boundaries, but parents are too busy working, and paying attention to all their crap. Mommy I want this, everyone has it, Daddy I want a car, or I'm going to go live on the street and such dick for a living. I mean what the hell... Just say no, ground them, and I don't see anything wrong with even harsher punishments. Lock them up in their rooms, take away phone, computer, and anything remotely entertaining.
I was a good kid but my father was so afraid that I'll slip, that he used to punish me for anything that he considered to be wrong. And quite honestly, I think now, that I'm better because of that.
Parents need to be strict.

Ummm HELLO what about the school and educational system!?!?! I absolutely agree that parents need to raise their kids but I absolutely disagree that parents need to be STRICT...they don't need to be strict, they just need to (like you said) to raise their kids.
But what about the damn education system?!?!? Everything you mentioned above (about what you've been taught and ect...) I learned in like first grade...not to mention a lot more...the education system is definitely not doing it's job!

Education starts at home! Teachers, unfortunately don't give a shit, because they're not paid enough. But that's a whole different story. This isn't the society in which ALL teachers care about the well being of their students. As long as they pass their classes.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in another place, where teachers, who at one point didn't get paid for 9 months, showed so much interest in their students' lives. And then I came here, and went to highschool. I was not impressed to say the least. All they cared about was whether I came to class, and if I didn't they didn't even care to ask why.
So teachers, don't do shit, and they should.

1 - Teachers are always going on strike
2 - A lot (not all) of people who become teachers are there for the 8-4 day and summers off
3 - The teacher/student ratio is much higher than it used to be
3 - Parent's shouldn't expect Teachers to Parent. And yes, teachers are useless at dealing with classroom issues (my niece got in trouble for punching a girl two grades above her who broke her electronic toy. Granted, punching is not a solution, but the girl who broke the toy to begin with got off scott free and wasn't reprimanded for taking something maliciously that wasn't hers)
