Reading this thread, after attending Saturday's timeless experience , makes me feel great knowing that there were actual fans in that club . But, I wish I knew this before, because some of the people in the club gave me a bad impression of the LA secene with there dumb lights and ecsstacy--this made me sooo pissed , because I didn't want AVB to have such an audience as I've been wanting to see AVB live eversince I heard Blue Fear, Communication, Eternity w/ tiesto,...etc--which was like four years ago. And I felt like nobody relly was showing AVB and even Schulz the real appreciation they deserve. But, its cool because from this thread i've learned that there were trancers in that club!
Well, i'd like to say that i'm happy about you TAs. And if you guys aren't overly-protective, i'd like to introduce myself sometime--so maybe in future events I could share my own interest in elec music and also contribute to the growing dedication to electronic music in a larger perspective.
Enough of the small talk.
Eventhough almost every track was great last sat., what was the ONE highlight that relly expressed the dj fromm each set? I'd like to hear the TA's responses on this.
For me, I would have to say for passionate Schulz: Fanatic by (Bakke & Ljungqvist?). The track relly described Schulz for me. So much depth of emotion in that track must have done it. And for the enthusiastic Armin: his selection of Enmass- CQ. OOh, when i heard that, I knew what Armin likes to see in his audience--TO see them goo crazY!! (In the moments of hearing those tracks slowly mix in, great impressions of Schulz and Armin were engraved in my brain...its great.)
