Wouldn't be surpised. The lower ammount of copies they _say_ get pressed, the better it sells I guess. At least of you compare in a specific time stretch. Announcing the number of copies at a high amount will probably make people not rush so much for a copy... and some will wait so long they get bored and don't buy it afterall.

got mine today, you have to run Street Spirit loud, lots of bass and slightly pitched to get the most of it...madonna is passable

I seriously doubt they'll screw you over completely, this isn't a small company, they are farkin huge with hundreds of stores around Australia. So i doubt they'll take your money and run.......

Yes, that's what I meant, sorry. Lol... I have a 5 year old jack-to-jack lead with a phono adaptor and average soundcard. I'm guessing the guy from the ripping group didn't have a much better setup. Providing you have a decent system it'll sound fine... and like I said playing it directly through the mixer into my headphones worked fine

I don't think they will, they are pretty huge, its just that their vinyl section is very small....i don't know of any actual Sanity shops that sell vinyl, its only online.

Don't forget that they have to get it from the Netherlands or UK or wherever it was pressed first.

In case anyone else wants to know, Australian's biggest online vinyl store (very reputable with excellent, fast service) has just got this in as well.

I would have thought that they would have gotten the vinyls themselves before the release date, so they could release them on the Monday - its how every other industry works.
Also Sanity have "Dance Arena" stores in some cities (not Adelaide though) that stock vinyl, so they would need stock for these.

You will definitely receive stock from Sanity though.

I can thoroughly recommend Vinyl Warning, had I known they were going to get stock I would have bought it from there but they didn't list it until the Wednesday or Thursday.

Hey is anyone else have a hard time mixing into this Die Another Day remix? Im trying to get those vocals in at the beginning but they just dont work too well and are so strangely toned

Was reading up on the lyrics of Street Spirit when I found this quote from Thom Yorke:

The original could not be more perfect... I think I understand why Radiohead did not want it to be remixed and released.

I think I can understand too now... I've never made the effort to listen to the lyrics before but that's some crazy shit. The whole purpose of dance music really is to bring people together in happiness... can see how they would see it as inappropriate.
