Odd, he has played several of his productions, and that's before he did his electro inspired stuff. Perhaps he just thinks that Ferry has improved lately.
Personally, I don't think that's the case at all. I think he just wants to make sure the new venue is filled, and a second big name is the right way to go about doing that; kind of like how he used Tiesto for LFA. Who know's though.

Booking someone like Ferry Corsten will not guarantee a filled up new venue in Germany. If that was what Paul wanted he'd go for a big techno name or something similar that is more well known.

ich kenn die location...dyk hat dort vor jahren schon zweimal was zum besten gegeben....ich finde es ist optimal+gross genug...
(bei dieser location würde sogar ich ausnahmsweise mal mal wieder meinen müden hintern hochbekommen)
PS: dort wurde auch die sendung "einspruch: maier" aufgezeichnet
