I think everyone knows Laushinameee loves Paul Van Dyk and any artist associated with him.

ok, fairy nuff. We actually have very similar interests (add in there Marco V, and harder stuff again Kai Tracid and Dumonde). I thought once or twice I saw you bashing PvD, but I must have been mistaken.

Anyway, I'll let you get back to the argument at hand. For my part, I like Tiesto as well, he's not my favourite, his mixing is pretty average some of the time, and he hasn't been as good recently as he has been in the past.

yeh you probably have, I have a lot of interest in Paul van Dyk, probably more so than those other djs... but he pulls off a lot of shit sets, and plays a lot of shit tracks. He isnt immune from my slating...

Kai Tracid is doing some great things recently, in the past he was pretty crap though.

When I saw PVD in central park this year I think me and my g/f were the oldest ones their (we’re both 21).

The venue was filled with 16-18 yr. old 'raver types'. It was an interesting crowd to say the least.

And PVD's set was shit. I wish I never spent the $$ to fly out to NYC to see him.

However, his last gig here at Sound-Bar had a much older crowd and his set was amazing.

When Tiesto can to Chicago the crowd was mixed. I think more than 80% of the people there were over 21.
So I think both Dj's get the same amount of younger and older fans. It depends where the gig is at I guess.

Off-Topic:

Continuing Nite-Mer's interest in what I think about Sasha & Digweed and their contributions to EDM...their statement that they "made the first 'proper' mix CD" pretty much tells me that most of what they do is based on pretense and self-adulation. Making such bold and false statements as that doesn't help their credibility much.

ignoring the actual substance of their sets... they are both billed as 'Trance' djs by the media... and trance always attracts the younger, more clueless crowd... not that theres anything wrong with a young crowd interested in electronic music, but today the people seem to be so lazy, they have an interest, but only up to a point. Theyll like armin or tiesto & maybe markus schulz and no one else, they dont want to know anything about anything else, and thats the bad thing.

Yes, but to me you are young yet you say his shows attracts young crowds. Curious what your definition of young is. No I am not attacking you. I am simply asking you a question.
