Canr believe how much shite is being spouted on this thread. Look at the original list:

0.above & beyond - Absolutely superb producers. Fair enough the formula might be a bit overused but worst of 2004??
09.armin van buuren
08.Eric Prydz - Call on me was a fantastic production, hammered to death by radio play now of course but remember when you first heard it? its a superb production
07.Probspot - Probspot is absolutely superb and it beggars belief that hes in any kind of "worst of 2004" list
06.Vadim Zhukov - again a very good producer does not belong in this list.
05.Perry O'neal
04.Arwave
03.Ferry Corsten - oh please
02.Solar Stone - not heard much from them this year
01.Thrillseekers - again thrillseekers have no place in a worst of 2004 list

I really dont see the point in this thread. Above and beyond are virtually the leaders of the whole trance Genre, how can they be on this list???

Hey, everyone, keep bitching to people who have different opinions than you! That'll surely make them change their mind!

Jesus fucking christ, get a grip on reality. The lists posted here ARE NOT DEFINITIVE CHARTS THAT YOU MUST OBEY! They are opinions, and no matter how much you keep whining how someone doesn't happen to like the same stuff you do it won't change their opinion (I know, sounds impossible but it really won't, trust me on this).

Indeed. A good artist can change his sound every single time and still have a very distinct style. Having a style doesn't mean one should sound the same every time.

It amazes how offended people get over lists like this. Yes, people have mentioned producers on here who I think are pretty good, but you don't see me throwing a tantrum and railing on and on. You know why?? Because it makes no difference!!! It's their opinion and they're entitled to it like it or not. You can piss and moan at a person all you want but 99 times out 100 you'll accomplish absolutely nothing. And like Mr. Mystery said, this isn't a definitive list made into some sort of industry standard or something like that. It's a list posted by some members of a message board stating their opinions. Hardly anything to get your panties in a knot over.

I think you'd have saved a lot of time by putting "Comparatively" in the title.

honestly, i really am not offended at all at this list. just as they have the right to call some of my favorite artists boring, dull, and formulaic, i am voicing my opinion that i find certain members posts on this board boring, dull, and formulaic. once again, its only my opinion, and guess what i am entitled to it. chew on that for a while.
