BORRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNG ...
I thought it was legalized like years ago ... oh well ... good for them, no big deal, as long as they dont show extreme affection in public ... I mean, for me, I find it gross to see guys kissing ... girls is FUN, on the other hand!

I am a heterosexual, so it doesn't concern me at all

What I was trying to communicate is that the child needs a strong role model. Sex of said role model is irrelevant - as is having "one of each".

Our society has become less and less genderfied {made up word, you know what I mean} with the dissolution of the typical "male" and "female" role.

The "nuclear" idea is one such that it has a strong founded need of the requirement for multi-gendered role model(s) for one (a person/child) to thrive.

Fortunately society's stucture and format has evolved where this is a passe point of view (in the respect of role models and development) and isn't applicable. If this view/opinion still was valid - women would still be expected to stay at home (fyi, they aren't).

Males and females will always be different in nature despite what feminists and feel good socialists try to tell you. That is why it is important to try and instill both sets of ideals in a child. In an age where everytime i want to say "merry christmas" im almost compelled to include kwanzaa, chunukah, and just about every other religion's celebration of winter solstice, i dont think my idea of inclusiveness is too far fetched.

I want kids to get the very best, and that means two parents.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Anyway, divorce should be illegal except where there's fault (abuse, etc.).

Thank god your breed is dieing out. You are a disease of society.

Wedding Etiquette

1) On the day of a gay wedding, it's bad luck for the two grooms to see each other at the gym.

2) Superstition suggests that for good luck the couple should have: Something bold, something fierce, Something trashy, something dirty.

3) It's customary at gay and lesbian nuptials for the parents to have an open bar during the ceremony.

4) Gay wedding tradition dictates that both grooms refrain from eating wedding cake because it's all carbs.

5) It's considered bad luck for either of the grooms to have dated the priest.

6) During the first dance, it's considered unlucky to use glow sticks, flags, whistles or handheld lasers.

7) For good luck at the union of a drag queen, the bouquet is always thrown in the face of a hated rival drag queen.

8) A local saying from colonial Northampton: A lesbian who owns a horse will never tell a lie, But a lesbian who votes Republican will leave you for a guy.

9) The wedding singer is not allowed to play/sing Let's hear it for the boy, YMCA or I will Survive.

10) The father of the Bottom pays for everything!

oh craig...

AHAHAHAHA!!

I've never heard those before.

and all kinds of intollerance and ignorance too though

some of the retorts...the idea that a traditional marriage is any more or less beneficial to children is unproven, to say the least. Factor in the 50+% divorce rate, the additional x% of marriages that don't end in divorce but that could be considered unhealthy or unhappy, and the % of single parents from the beginning...and it's illogical to suggest that kids are any better or worse off than they would be in a gay household.

What I do find hillarious (and exasperating) is that Jayx1 *still* can't recognize the difference between the issues of 2nd hand cigarette smoke and decriminalizing marijuana, LMFAO. One involves the inhalation of proven carcinogenic substances by an unwilling 2nd party...the other involves not wasting resources on policing and prosecuting a FAR less harmful, non-physically addictive substance that no one is even arguing ought to be allowed to be smoked wherever one chooses. oh yeah...same thing
