I got a call at 2am from Joel, and what do I hear in the background? (given it took me 2 minutes to figure it out)... MINDCIRCUS

PWND.

Overall It was a great night. I like the new way G&D are mixing at gigs not to mention that the mixing itself was spot on. Crowd and vibe was good. It was great to see Santos and Emerson again. Nice meeting Jbooty, Matthias, and TMFT. You guys are all awesome.

Tracks they played not mentioned yet:
Way Out West - Mindcircus (G&D Remix)
Motorcycle - Around You (Before We Fade Away) (Love the breakdown and buildup of this track)
Nikola Gala - Swing to Harmony (??? Remix)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (G&D Remix)
Rachael Starr - Till There Was You (G&D 12 Step Mix)
Jewel - Intuition (G&D Lo Tek Dub)
Andain - Beautiful Things (G&D Unplugged Mix)
Starkid - Crayons (Leama and Moor's In Memory of Starkid Remix)

They played a bunch of other tracks that I couldnt ID. I had a blast hope to do it again soon.

Wish all you guys coulda came to Eternal afterward. Dave and Josh actually showed up and played an afterhours set from 4-5am. THere was only 20 of us present, but they were still havin a good time and played alot of unknown tracks that weren't played at Sky. Replayed the remix of Nikola Gala - Swing to Harmony.

Those of you going to Eternal tonight, look forward to seeing you all there.

Makes sense if it was cause it was actually pretty good. Still prefer the original though.

Damn so they did play an afterhours set at Eternal then sucks that I missed it. I was already pretty tired anyway and I didn't think they were heading out to Eternal so I took off.

Hmmm

You liked their mixing??? What mixing...the computer did all the work. I didn't see them use one record or CD. All I saw was Dave lean over and see what Josh was gonna play...then mess around with the mixer....it almost felt like they put on a CD and just let it play. I enjoyed their show a lot more from before at SKY.

They used Ableton Live 4. Wasnt suppsed to be a DJ set, more of a live PA of sorts. I give em credit since 95% of the tracks they played were there's or remixed by them.
