i agree with you that the moves you are talking about are really hard. i never did quite get the liquid thing. but i did find that the more i practiced raving with sticks and photons the better my dancing became when i didnt use them too.

Well i mean glowsticking in general....

Don't get me wrong...i HAVE seen some kids throw down some amazing routines...but TO ME watching someone manipulate their BODY is far more impressive....

For instances i will use the fundamental move in both liquid and glowsticking - the figure 8.....now to see someone use their arms and hands to make the figure 8 and make it "flow perfectley" is a lot more impressive then making lights make a figure 8.

I have heard people say the samething...that they got better as a dancer after using sticks....i am not against sticks really.

I forgot who said it....but i heard someone (a liquider) once say this

"If you can bug out people that are sober with your shit then you are good"

Now i have NEVER seen a glowstick routine that bugged me out sober or messed up....but i cant even count the amount of liquiders and breakers that bug me out even to this day.

I dunno...i would much rather bust out a full body wave , throw down a few hits, then glide away and watch peoples mouths hit the floor anyday then use sticks...but then again my dancing days are all about done..with the exception of a few waves here and there for laughs....but their are times when u gotta put people in check on the floor when they THINK they got it going on...lol

this thread was not meant for flaming or arguing guys...chill out. I can dance as well as do sticks, I liquid a bit as well. It is also possible to liquid with sticks or dance while glowsticking.

i did find what u said to b insulting..... bcuz most of the kids who cant break or dance find something that they love and feel they have an easier time learning it.... although im not sayin that glowstringin is easy its hard if u have some sick moves, like orbitals or jumping over ur orbitals and things like that. But the truth is people wanna fit it to some type of thing, like me i dont just glowstring... i've been told that im a good dancer(hip hop stuff), i break a little, liquidin. U say glowstringin, stickin is easy and is for lazy people..... i'd like to see u pull off something crazy moves..... just my 2cents
