but this was caused by a general confusion by the bouncers that they have to work on. it takes time for them to get used to the clientelle the owners want in.

Well that was one hell of a start. All in all it was a great night but we need to apologize to a large group of people who did not manage to get in (regular patrons, friends and also my family members). We basically were slammed very early in the evening between general admission and guest list leaving a bit of a mess to deal with outside on Richmond Street. The local police helped us control the crowd but ultimately it spilled out into the street. We had to clear the area for safety reasons so we where forced to close the guest list early to clear up the Republik door leaving us to do an "in/out" policy at the Vision entrance to control capacity. The club itself was at capacity very early (around midnight). For the coming weeks we are making some changes to how we are handling guest lists that will hopefully clear out the congestion on the street. We will also be running a late night reduced guest list for the TA members to make sure you get to hear the talent we bring in. We will make an announcement on how it works when all the details are worked out. We definitely want to make sure that everybody gets in and enjoys what we have done. Remember we are one week away from our first "after the vote" party with John 00 Fleming and our first late nite party... April 2, 2005

You know it was crazy when I didn’t even get a chance to spin a record at my own opening!

Walter…

There ya go!

No one is perfect especially on their first night but the owners are clearly listening to what the people have to say. That more than anything will be the success of any business.

These owners dont have an ounce of pretension in them which I think is a very important ingredient in providing a good clubbing experience.

definately...i've said already that i was dissapointed not being able to get in, but i know its got to be a load of stress opening a club making sure everything goes smoothly, so i'm not down and out about it, i'll definately be making my way in the future, and its nice to have owners that listen to the ppl.

Queen: 9pm
Richmond & Adelaide: midnite

Sure there goes the cheap lots - thanks Nat.

Underground at Roy Thompson Hall - usually around $8

exactly.. $20-25 parking is for ginos and their high maintainence girlfriends who couldnt fathom walking more than a block.

Be smart and you will find good cheap parking
