it's under-rated if anything, people seem to think its just a cheap beatmatching tool.

the main thing i like about having superstar DJs is that they attract large crowds. i don't know what it is about large crowds but i like them.. i like seeing tens of screaming thousands of clubbers with their hands in the air at the same time.. it's an awesome sight

there are lesser known DJs out there i prefer to tiesto. but to be honest i'd rather go to a TIC event than see one of the aforementioned DJs at a small, low-key venue with a tiny crowd, weak soundsystem & budget lighting setup. even if the music may not be as good (though i still like most of what tijs plays) i'd find the whole experience/atmosphere more appealing somewhere bigger with a 'superstar' dj playing

Agreed, if you like top notch state of the art quality, go to tiesto. If you like vague settings, poor sound, no lights, experimental music, go see sasha

Besides.Abbleton is just a device to steer tracks. Nothing fancy or difficult about it, Just simplifies mixing...............

Hey, about what you said regarding Sasha, I will completely agree with you that he is not using the full capabilities of Live at all, but...does he have to? He uses it as a tool to acheive the sound he's looking for, and wasn't able to acheive with CDs...also, you think G&D are using it to its full potential?

I... I... I honestly don't know how to respond to this. This has to be the single post out of all that I've ever read in six years on different forums that has actually left me wanting to respond yet leaving me speechless at the same time.

There isn't even a smiley that can convey my emotion.
