it's a sweet car (though below a G35, Legacy GT, and STi on my list of faves)...quality, performance, style...a good choice if you want to drop that kind of cash on a car.

some of us prefer to save/invest...some prefer to buy property (my plan)...some prefer to travel.

regardless of his motives for posting, don't begrudge the guy his pleasure...it's not hurting anyone else here (unless it makes you jealous).

Very Nicely put

LOL, i just realized that this does in fact have something to do with trance... EVERYTHING to do with trance. I just remembered that on the way back from the Benz dealership, i popped in the Gatecrasher Transmission CD. One of the songs is The Sweetest Dreams, which is one of my favorites. I immediately remembered it's name, and also remembered listening to it over a year ago while daydreaming about the day when i could afford the 350Z. Suddenly, i found myself thinking: "the sweetest dreams?... what about MY dreams?! DAMMIT!" The fact that i gave up on my dream hit me in the face like a jackhammer. The 350Z is the car i've always wanted, not the Benz. I was buying the Benz because i thought it would make me look better in front of prospective clients - it's a serious car and a symbol of success. But the Z was my DREAM! I realized that nothing would make me happier than picking up the phone, calling the dealership, and telling them that i changed my mind. So i paused the CD and did just that. Man, what an amazing experience. None of this would have happened if that song didn't come on while i was driving back home! I'm gonna burn it on CD and make sure it's the first damn song that i play in that car when i get it on Friday!

LOL... the closest you can come to talking about music is to say "wow, that songs reminds me of me!"

Since you're so big on inspirational literature, d!abolic, I'm sure you've read Dale Carnegie, so perhaps I should remind you of one of his little tidbits: "To be interesting, be interested."

Really, nobody cares about you or your dreams or your car or anything else you've said in this thread. Maybe if you took even a remote interest in the affairs of -other- people, you might get taken more seriously, but you can't even talk about music without somehow referencing YOU. With that rotten, self-indulgent attitude, it's hard for any of us to believe that you could succeed at anything, which is probably why no one does believe half the shit you say.

It's like the car accident or train wreck. You can't help but watch this twit dig himself deeper and deeper into a hole.

Your the best dude, keep up the good work.

The tendency to "rub it in" is especially powerful for the people with more material possessions - the way they handle it is a window into their character. Do they use it to make other people (and subsequently, themselves) happy, or do they squander it in a vain attempt to make others jealous?

The difference between those who are truly well-off and those who merely want to appear well-off is as clear to me as night and day, and I imagine it's equally clear for many (if not most) others.

It doesn't bother me that he bought the car, at all. It doesn't bother me that he's proud of or happy with his purchase. However, the fact that he needed to announce it to hundreds of complete strangers makes me question his real motivation not only for buying it, but for wanting to own it in the first place.

You hit the nail on the proverbial head. I've had millionaires over for dinner parties and I've never heard them brag. Pretty down to earth people actually.

as others have said, you really dont show yourself, and when you do, only a handful of ppl have seen/know you. you really dont post in any other threads besides your own making it hard for us to know who you are. you dont talk about music on here or any other things that most people on here post about. i bet if u started to post stuff that didnt concern just you, people wouldnt be so defensive about it.

it also seems that you chose which info to give out. like buying all this expensive stuff and all, but when asked where u work, you try and elude it with a vague answer.

just my $0.02

This thread has more views that any other non-event thread on this page, aside from one of song lyrics.

It's pretty funny that people wonder why he posts, yet he attracts a hell of a lot of attention. One would think that people would be more interested in what they want to see rather than what they don't want to see.
