Besides, there are more important things to argue about. Such as whether N body codes such as Mercury 6 can be used to accurately model the accretion of planetesimals, modeled as having zero mass, onto a protoplanet since the gravitational field within the Hill radius of the protoplanet is dominated by the protoplanet itself ...OR...whether N body codes are insufficient as they fail to take into account the gravitational stirring of planetesimals by themselves which lead to collisions, a fundamental change in the mass (and thus velocity) spectrum of the planetesimals and which may allow the accretion of shear-dominated, as opposed to dispersion dominated, plantesimals to ...well, dominate, driving down the formation timescale for said protoplanets. I mean, c'mon, that's on everyone's mind here at work at least :P

Please clarify stealing?

I agree, one time I saw armin 3 shows in a row and the first 30-45 minutes was EXACTLY the same. track for track, phrase for phrase.

As far as stealing... simple. you walk into a record store and take it without paying or if a dj has their record bag there, you take a few pieces or the whole thing. that is stealing..... or you just take someones laptop/pc that has all the mp3's in it.

steal ( P ) Pronunciation Key (stl)
v. stole, (stl) sto·len, (stln) steal·ing, steals
v. tr.
1. To take (the property of another) without right or permission.
2. To get or effect surreptitiously or artfully: steal a kiss; stole the ball from an opponent.
3. To move, carry, or place surreptitiously.
4. To draw attention unexpectedly in (an entertainment), especially by being the outstanding performer: The magician's assistant stole the show with her comic antics.
5. Baseball. To advance safely to (another base) during the delivery of a pitch, without the aid of a base hit, walk, passed ball, or wild pitch.

All I want for christmas is my 2 front teeth....

Hi Guys!

physics of planet formation *is* worth your time, though. You can read all about it heremy paper and here paper of Peter Goldreich: astrophysics god

Was she meaning actual stealing as in taking with out paying or simply copying the music others were playing.

Still trying to get to the bottom of this LOL

Nonsense It was the topic I addressed in my paper. There are actually quite a few papers dealing with this as the formation of Uranus and Neptune is still an outstanding problem in planet formation theory. The lack of a solution has lead several people to come up with an alternative model for forming giant planets called the 'disk instability' model. There are major problems with this model too, so I've been more interested to see if the standard 'core accretion' scenario could be modified to account for the formation of distant, giant planets like Neptune. I'm pretty sure it does, though my attempt at a solution is probably still scratching the surface of what the real answer is.

I too have done quite alot of research about how when I stick my Pluto in some womans Uranus and then start grabbing her Neptunes while she screams for the stars. Then while I start licking her Moon while she plays with my Jupiter in a prestigeous fashion will only but surely bring the Halleys comet hundreds of miles per hour from my Pluto.

Top that!

Well, it *is* a serious issue in astronomy right now. People get all mean and personal over this. Trust me, I've witnessed the brawls, even participated in a few of them .
